Poison Valley Road is not suitable for caravans or buses, and during the wet season (typically from November to April), or occasionally at other times, the road may become boggy and impassable. Canns Camp Creek camping area offers various camping options, including tent camping beside your car and camper trailer camping. The eight numbered sites provide campers with comfortable spaces to set up their temporary home in nature. The campsite surface is primarily composed of dirt, providing a rustic camping experience. Campfires are allowed in designated fire rings, subject to specific conditions and any fire prohibitions or bans that may be in effect. It is important to bring clean firewood such as untreated mill off-cuts, as collecting firewood within the park is prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended as an alternative. Generators are not permitted in this camping area to maintain the peaceful atmosphere and minimize environmental impact. Visitors are advised to bring essential supplies, including drinking water, rubbish bags for responsible waste disposal, insect repellent to ward off pesky insects, and a gas stove for cooking needs. Mobile phone coverage in the area is unreliable, so it's advisable to be prepared for limited or no connectivity during your stay.
