Henrietta Creek Campground

These are e-permit camping areas-all camping must be booked in advance; self-registration is not available. Camping is only permitted in the camping area/numbered campsite (s) you have booked. Henrietta Creek camping area is located in the Palmerston (Doogan), Wooroonooran National Park, just off the Palmerston Highway, 38km from Innisfail. It is a grassy camping area next to Henrietta Creek, surrounded by rainforests. There are 11 unpowered, numbered sites, suitable for tents, camper trailers, motorhomes, and caravans. The camping area can be reached by conventional vehicle. Facilities include composting toilets, picnic tables, gas barbecues, and taps. Open fires: not allowed-fuel stoves are recommended. Only generators that operate at or below 65dB(A) when measured 7m from the generator are allowed. Generators may be operated between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm only. Pets are not permitted. Mobile phone coverage is not available.
