Bago State Forest

Take time to explore this beautiful area which has hidden treasures such as Sugar Pine Walk, Buddong Falls, Blowering Dam foreshores as well as diverse wildlife including the iconic Brumby.

Start off your day with a visit to the Sugar Pines walk, located just off Kopsens Road at Laurel Hill. Take a stroll among these magnificant trees as they tower high above you.

Next travel to the Pilot Hill Arboretum and wander through the 40 different species of conifers and hardwood from all over the world. This is also a great spot for a picnic.

While in Bago State Forest you might also like to visit the Hume and Hovell Lookout which offers spectacular views across to Blowering Dam and Kosciuszko National Park
