Things to know
The Park provides four camping areas, namely South Gregories, Gregories, Bottle Bay, and Big Lagoon. These areas offer basic amenities such as toilets and gas barbecues. Additionally, campers can also choose to camp along the sandy beaches at Herald Bight.
It is important for campers to come prepared and bring enough drinking water for their entire stay, as there may not be a reliable water source in the Park.
Access to the Herald Bight camping area is limited to high clearance four wheel drives. To navigate the soft sand conditions, it is advisable to reduce tire pressures. Caravans are not recommended due to the narrow and soft sand tracks.
Neighborhood
In the park, activities such as camping in the bush, driving off-road vehicles, going on walks, and fishing on the beach are well-liked. Additionally, swimming and boating are popular pastimes in the marine park.
