The journey is part of the adventure, as it involves a 1-hour hike from Yellow Pinch along a well-maintained fire trail. While the walk is moderate in difficulty, it offers glimpses of the natural beauty that awaits at the campsite. There are no defined camping sites at Burbank Bush Camp, allowing for a maximum of 12 people to enjoy the area at any given time. This setup ensures a sense of wilderness and solitude, allowing campers to connect with nature in a truly unspoiled environment. The ground at the campsite consists of soil and leaf litter, creating a natural and rustic camping experience. The campsite does not offer any facilities, so campers must come fully prepared. All water collected from the nearby creeks should be treated before consumption, and all waste, including food scraps, must be packed out. Open fires are strictly prohibited, and campers are required to use fuel stoves for cooking. Generator use is also not allowed. Campers should pack essential items such as drinking water, extra food, a first-aid kit, a topographic map, a compass, a torch, warm clothing, wet weather gear, rubbish bags, insect repellent, and a fuel or gas stove. There is no mobile phone coverage in this remote area, allowing campers to truly disconnect from the digital world and immerse themselves in the natural beauty that surrounds them.
