Additional rules

Campfires are allowed in fire rings provided in all areas except Isaacs. Usual permitted season: April - November. No campfires are allowed in Isaacs area. Bring your own firewood in case none is available. Collecting firewood and kindling is not permitted in national parks and other conservation reserves. Dogs and generator use are not allowed. Do not empty chemical toilet waste into campground toilets. Carry waste out of the park for disposal in an authorised dump point.

Things to know

Conto has eight camping areas. Chuditch and Quenda areas have 19 and 18 reverse-in campsites respectively. The surface is compacted crushed limestone. The other areas - Davies, Hamelin, Isaacs, Whalers, and Whistlers - have 12 to 22 compacted earth and grass sites. They are suitable for tents and swags only with parking alongside. Wanil is a fenced grass area for tents and swags without marked campsites, and parking outside the fence. All campsites are unpowered.
Drinking water is not provided. Rainwater may be seasonally available but supply is not guaranteed and treatment is required to make safe for consumption.
