Dando's has separate day-visitor and camping areas and is situated on a tranquil bend of the Gellibrand River in a north-facing, spacious flat. Well suited to those seeking a remote, peaceful campsite from which to further explore the Otway region. There are 20 campsites located on gently sloping grassy sites under a light canopy of eucalypt.

This is one of several camping areas scattered throughout Otway State Park. The Great Otway National Park, Otway Forest Park, and Anglesea Heath are commonly referred to as The Otways.
