Dingo Dell Camping Reserve

  • Unpowered Site

Dingo Dell is a tremendous offroad campground within the Kanangra-Boyd National Park to the northwest of Sydney.

The national park features a fun 4WD run along the Kowmung Fire Trail, which leads down to the bushy campsite on the banks of Tuglow Hole Creek.

The park and campsite are just a 180km run northwest of Sydney, so they are ideally located for an overnight mission for most Sydneysiders and are certainly in the range of a day trip for some western Sydney residents.

Kowmung Fire Trail is accessed via Kanangra Walls Road or Banshee Road and is 4WD access only, which helps to minimise crowds most of the time.

Tullow Hole Creek is only a trickle except after heavy rains, but there are generally a couple of waterholes deep enough to cool off during hot weather.
