Given the absence of facilities, campers need to be entirely self-sufficient. Basic essentials for this excursion include ample drinking water, extra food supplies, a comprehensive first-aid kit, a topographic map, a reliable compass, a powerful flashlight, warm clothing, wet weather gear, appropriate rubbish bags for waste disposal, and insect repellent.
