Nestled within the southern expanse of the park, around 38 kilometers northwest of Brisbane's city center, Dundas Road remote bush camp beckons you to explore its remote charms.

1) Open fires: Fuel stoves are recommended. Open fires permitted in the fireplace provided (except when fire bans or prohibitions apply). Do not collect bush wood. Penalties apply for offenses.

Things to know

Campsite's accessibility options are limited to those who seek a more immersive adventure – arrive by bicycle, on foot, or with a mountain bike. As you venture into this picturesque landscape, the undulating hills guide your path to the camp. Continue your expedition along Mount Nebo Road for approximately 22 kilometers until you reach the Mount Nebo waste transfer station. Hidden behind the station lies the entrance to Dundas Road, which, though unsealed, is still accessible by 2WD vehicles. Embark on a 1.6-kilometer journey on foot or bike along Dundas Road to reach the remote bush camp The campsite accommodates a maximum of 15 individuals, and its surface is composed of natural dirt. It's important to bring along essential items for a comfortable stay, including drinking water, a first-aid kit, insect repellent, rubbish bags, a fuel stove, a tent for shelter, sturdy footwear, and weather-appropriate clothing. Mobile phone coverage is unreliable.
