Additional rules
Campfires are allowed only when the conditions permit and in campers' own portable, self-contained fire rings. The usual permitted season for campfires is from April to October. Please bring your own firewood as collecting firewood and kindling is not allowed in national parks and other conservation reserves. Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times. Generator use is allowed. Please be aware that there are no toilets provided, so it is recommended to bring and use a portable chemical cassette toilet. You can either use the dump point located 6 km away or carry waste out of the park for disposal in an authorised dump point. Please carry all waste out of the park as no bins are provided. Private, unlicensed all-terrain vehicles/quad bikes (ATVs) and other off-road vehicles are not permitted in Nyinggulu Coastal Reserves.
Things to know
Please note that drinking water and personal hygiene facilities are not available at Nyinggulu Coastal Reserves. The period between December and April can be extremely hot, with a high risk of bushfires. Additionally, from November to April, it is the tropical cyclone season in this area. Storms are common between May and October throughout Western Australia. As Nyinggulu Coastal Reserves is located in a very remote area of Australia, it is important to ensure that you have sufficient supplies, including water, food, fuel, medication, and first aid, as well as appropriate equipment and clothing for the conditions before embarking on your trip.
