Things to know

England Creek remote bush camp requires a bit of planning. Situated in the South D'Aguilar section of D'Aguilar National Park, the camp is approximately 46 kilometers northwest of Brisbane's city center. While some roads leading to the camp are sealed, others are unsealed but still accessible by two-wheel-drive vehicles. Two routes offer access to the camp: Joyners Ridge Road and Lawton Road. Both routes start from The Gap suburb in Brisbane, with Mount Nebo Road serving as a common point of departure. The campsite does not have designated camping spots, allowing for a more open and communal camping arrangement. Up to 9 individuals (with a maximum of 3 tents, each accommodating 3 people) can stay at the campsite at any given time. Walk-in camping is the norm here, and the campsite surface is characterized by natural dirt and grass. Essential items to bring to the camp include a reliable source of drinking water, a first-aid kit, rubbish bags, insect repellent, a fuel stove for cooking, a sturdy tent, appropriate clothing for changing weather conditions, and sturdy footwear suitable for exploring the trails. Mobile phone coverage is unreliable.
