Fern Flat Campground

The camping area features camp beside Broken River, where you may be able to spot a platypus.

Location: 600m from Broken River day-use area, which is about 5km from Eungella township.

Access: can be reached by conventional vehicles, 600m along the gravel road.

The number of sites: 8 sites. Maximum 4 people per site.

Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping, a short walk from your vehicle. Not suitable for camper trailers, caravans, or motorhomes.

Camp site surface: grass and dirt.

Facilities: hybrid toilet in the camping area. The nearby day-use area has toilet facilities, an information center, picnic tables, and gas barbecues. All water must be treated before drinking or using for cooking.

Open fires: allowed in fire rings only (except when fire bans apply). Fuel stoves are recommended. Bring your clean milled timber.
