Geehi Flats Campground

Tucked off Alpine Way drive, Geehi Flats campground has flat, grassy sites by the banks of the Swampy Plain River. Pitch your tent or set up your camper or caravan with a view of the soaring high alpine peaks of the Snowy Mountains as a backdrop.

Stop for a picnic, lace up your walking shoes, saddle up the horse, or bring your mountain bike and reconnect with nature along the many trails in this area.

In summer, the crystal-clear Swampy Plain River is ideal for swimming, tubing or kayaking. Fly fishing for rainbow and brown trout is a popular pastime here. There are also great 4WD trails around Geehi Walls, Major Clews Hut, and Tom Groggin.
