This camping area is exclusively accessible by foot, adding to the sense of remoteness and adventure. Hikers can reach Granite Creek camping area either from the Home Rule Rainforest Lodge or from Cedar Bay by traversing the Home Rule track. Granite Creek camping area does not feature designated individual camping sites. Instead, it offers an open area where campers can set up their tents in suitable spots along the track. The campsite surface is composed of natural dirt and leaf litter, enhancing the authentic outdoor experience. The camping area deliberately maintains a natural and unspoiled ambiance, thus facilities are minimalistic. Campers are advised to come prepared with essential supplies such as food, a reliable fuel stove for cooking, ample drinking water, insect repellent, and a mosquito net to ensure a comfortable stay.
