The camping area offers an open layout without specifically defined camping sites. However, it can accommodate groups of up to 30 people. Camp sites are suitable for various setups including tent camping beside your car, small caravans, camper trailers, motor homes, and large groups. The camping area is well-equipped to accommodate various camping preferences and activities. Some of the facilities and activities available include anchoring for boats, campfires (subject to conditions), generator use (with conditions), tent camping, caravan camping, camper trailer camping, campervan camping, motor home camping, tent camping beside your car, walking, mountain biking, horse riding, scenic drives, trail bike riding, canoeing, kayaking, boating, swimming, fishing, and even allowing dogs on leash. As with any camping trip, it's important to come prepared. Essentials to bring include drinking water, rubbish bags, a first-aid kit, insect repellent, a fuel stove or clean milled firewood, and a portable toilet. Keep in mind that mobile phone coverage is poor within the camping area itself. However, it's available at the main road turn-off, allowing you to stay connected when needed.
