The camping area, characterized by its Casuarina-shaded landscape, doesn't feature separately defined campsites but rather offers a cohesive and harmonious natural setting. This unique arrangement fosters a sense of shared space, enabling up to 60 campers to enjoy the island at any given time. For group campers, the limit is set at 8 individuals per group, ensuring a balance between preserving the serene atmosphere and accommodating larger parties. Campers have access to composting toilets, ensuring environmentally conscious waste disposal. Picnic tables offer a comfortable setting for meals and gatherings, and taps provide access to water for washing and cleaning. As a remote camping area, visitors are required to bring their own drinking water along with other camping essentials. While campfires are prohibited, campers are allowed to use gas or liquid-fueled stoves for cooking purposes, ensuring a safe and controlled cooking environment. Generators are not permitted, contributing to the tranquillity of the island. Mobile phone coverage is generally reliable on the island, but to ensure a reliable means of communication, visitors are advised to bring VHF marine radios and satellite phones.
