The Jarrahdene campground is situated amidst a blend of jarrah, marri, and peppermint bushland. It offers 36 campsites, some of which are appropriate for caravans and camper vans, while others are suitable for camper trailers and tents.

Additional rules

Campfires are only allowed in the designated fire rings when it is safe to do so. The usual season for campfires is from April to November. Although chopped firewood may be available, it is recommended to bring your own in case none is available. It is not allowed to collect firewood or kindling in national parks and other conservation reserves. Pets, specifically dogs, are not allowed in the area. The use of generators is also not permitted. It is important not to dispose of chemical toilet waste into campground toilets. Use the dump point or carry the waste out of the park for disposal at an authorised dump point.

Things to know

There is no drinking water provided at the location. Although rainwater may be available during certain times of the year, there is no guarantee and it should be treated before consumption. The only personal hygiene facility available are no-flush pit toilets. From December to April, it can get extremely hot and the risk of bushfires is high. Nights can be cold from June to September. Storms are common between May and October throughout Western Australia. It is important to ensure that you have sufficient supplies, including water, food, fuel, medication, and first aid, as well as appropriate equipment and clothing for the conditions before embarking on your travels.

Jarrahdene Campground offers a peaceful retreat in nature for those who seek relaxation and don't require many activities to keep them occupied. Campsites 9, 17, 28, and 29 are located in more secluded areas, making them ideal for visitors who prefer to be away from the crowds. Visitors can take an interpretive walk around the campground to learn about its history as a timber mill and observe the native flora and fauna. For the more adventurous, Giants Cave is a short drive away from Jarrahdene and offers a 90m climb down followed by a 500m walk through the cave, providing an exciting challenge for those who enjoy it.
