Karda Campground

Karda is a campground that is of medium size and located roughly 25 kilometers away from Lesueur National Park

Additional rules

Please be advised that campfires are only permitted when conditions permit and in provided fire rings. The usual permitted season for campfires is between May and October. When camping, please ensure that you bring your own firewood, as collecting firewood and kindling is not permitted in national parks and other conservation reserves. Dogs are not permitted in the area. To preserve the environment, please do not empty chemical toilet waste into campground toilets. Instead, we kindly request that you carry waste out of the park for disposal in an authorized dump point. Lastly, please carry all waste out of the park as no bins are provided on site.

Things to know

Please note that drinking water is not available at this location. The only personal hygiene facility provided are no-flush pit toilets. It can get extremely hot from December to April, and during this time, there is a high risk of bushfires. Additionally, nights can be cold from June to September, and storms are common between May and October throughout WA. We highly recommend that you ensure you have all necessary supplies, including water, food, fuel, medication, and first aid, as well as appropriate equipment and clothing for the current conditions before travelling to this location.

Access includes unsealed roads suitable for 2WD and AWD vehicles but road conditions can be variable and caution is advised.
