It is known for its exceptional natural beauty and is reputedly home to the largest perched lake in the world. Tent camping is the primary accommodation option, with a short walk required to reach the tent area. There are opportunities for walking, scenic drives, and canoeing and kayaking on the lake. Essential items to bring include fuel or gas stoves, a first-aid kit, prescription medicines, water containers, rubbish bags, insect repellent, sand pegs, tarpaulins, extra poles, ropes, and lockable food storage containers. Mobile phone coverage is generally not available in the area.
Neighborhood
Families can enjoy the breathtaking view of Lake Boomanjin while relaxing at the campsite. The campsite is shaded by scribbly gums, blackbutt trees, and a scattering of bloodwoods, creating a pleasant atmosphere for campers. You can listen to the melodious songs of birds in the treetops while camping. A short walk from the camping area will lead you to the tea-colored waters of Lake Boomanjin, where you can swim or kayak.
