Things to know
The campsite is located in the South D'Aguilar section of D'Aguilar National Park, 34 km northwest of Brisbane. Access roads leading to the camp are all sealed and can be traversed by two-wheel-drive (2WD) vehicles. The campsite has no defined camping sites, and it's suitable for walk-in camping only. It can accommodate a maximum of 6 people, with space for 2 three-person tents. Facilities at the campsite include a shelter shed and a water tank. Note that all water obtained in the park must be treated before consumption. While open fires are permitted in the provided fireplace (except during fire bans or prohibitions), it's recommended to use fuel stoves instead. Do not collect wood from the park, as penalties may apply. Essential items to bring include drinking water, a first-aid kit, rubbish bags, insect repellent, a fuel stove, a tent, sturdy shoes, and appropriate clothing. Mobile phone coverage in the area is unreliable, so be prepared for limited connectivity.
