Millionth Acre Recreation Area is a free short-term campsite located about 4km south of Hampton on the corner of Oberon Road and Jenolan Caves Road in the Lithgow Region of Central West New South Wales.

The area came into being in 1970 to celebrate the millionth acre of radiata pine planted in Australia. It’s a friendly camping site with toilets, picnic facilities, interpretative material, and several short walks radiating from the picnic area.

Things to know

1) There is some mobile phone service here, but it will depend on your carrier.
