This campsite is only reachable by foot, and it's a challenging trek to reach it. The campsite is designed for tent camping, but be prepared for a long walk to the tent area. There are no established amenities, so self-sufficiency is crucial. This campsite is suited for experienced off-track walkers with specialized equipment and strong navigational skills. The journey to the camp involves navigating through thick forest on unmarked trails, making it a demanding adventure. There are no separately-defined sites; a maximum of 8 people are allowed. campers must be self-sufficient. There's no nearby water source, so water from creeks should be treated before drinking. Campers should also be self-sufficient and bring extra food, a first-aid kit, topographic maps, a compass, a torch, warm clothing, wet weather gear, rubbish bags, insect repellent, and a fuel or gas stove. Open fires are prohibited, and only fuel stoves are allowed. Generator use is not permitted. Mobile phone coverage is poor in this remote area, so be prepared for limited communication.
