Tent camping is the primary form of accommodation here, with campers needing to be prepared for a long walk to reach their chosen spot. This remote campsite is reserved for experienced off-track walkers who possess specialist equipment and well-honed navigational skills. Before embarking on your journey to this remote campsite, it's crucial to assess your experience and preparedness levels, as a high level of physical fitness and navigational skills are prerequisites. Carrying proper navigation and communication gear is highly advisable. The campsite is nestled within a rainforest, offering no scenic views. The campsite is an open area without separately-defined sites, accommodating a maximum of 8 people. Campers must be self-sufficient and should carry essentials like drinking water, extra food, a first-aid kit, topographic map, compass, torch, warm clothing, wet weather gear, rubbish bags, insect repellent, and a fuel or gas stove. Open fires are prohibited; only fuel stoves are allowed. Mobile phone coverage is poor, so be prepared for limited connectivity.
