Mouth of Baffle Creek camping area is situated behind the fore dunes, approximately 1 kilometer south along the beach from the Rules Beach access point. It provides campers with a unique opportunity to camp under the canopy of coastal she-oak trees while enjoying panoramic views of the estuary and Sandy Beach.

Access to this camping area can be achieved via various means, making it versatile for different types of adventurers. You can reach it by high clearance 4WD vehicles, on foot (walk-in), by boat, or by canoe or kayak. For those arriving by car, you must enter through the beach access point located at the end of Rules Beach Road. If you're arriving by boat, a convenient boat ramp is situated nearby at Flat Rock. The camping area does not have separately defined sites, offering an open and flexible camping experience. It is primarily designed for tent camping beside your vehicle. The campsite surfaces are natural sand. There are no provided facilities, so campers must be self-sufficient. It's essential to bring your own drinking water and a fuel stove for cooking. Campers are responsible for carrying out all rubbish, including food scraps, as there are no waste disposal facilities on-site. Open fires are prohibited; therefore, fuel stoves are recommended for cooking. Generators are not permitted to maintain the peaceful and natural environment. Essential items to bring include drinking water, a gas or fuel stove for cooking, rubbish bags for waste disposal, insect repellent, and a small trowel for burying faecal waste. It's important to note that mobile phone coverage is generally not available in this remote camping area, allowing campers to disconnect and fully immerse themselves in the serene natural surroundings.
