Access to Munall Camping Area is primarily recommended for 4WD vehicles. The park's roads leading to the camping area are steep and winding, making them unsuitable for heavy trailers and caravans. Therefore, it's important to plan your trip accordingly, ensuring your vehicle is up to the task. Munall Camping Area offers 16 numbered sites, each with its own unique charm. These sites are spacious and provide ample room for campers. It's important to note that a maximum of 6 people are allowed per site. The campsite is suitable for tent camping beside your vehicle, making it convenient for both tent campers and those with camper trailers. The ground surface of Munall Camping Area is primarily composed of dirt, which adds to the rustic and natural atmosphere of the campground. it's crucial to note that open fires are allowed only in Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS)-provided fire rings, and this is subject to local fire restrictions and bans. The use of generators is not permitted in Munall Camping Area to ensure a peaceful and eco-friendly camping environment. To ensure a comfortable and safe camping experience, it's important to come prepared. Be sure to bring drinking water, as it may not be readily available at the campsite. Additionally, bring rubbish bags to dispose of your waste responsibly. Insect repellent is also a must, as you'll be camping in a natural setting. If you plan to have a campfire, bring clean, untreated firewood such as milled off-cuts, which can often be obtained at Dingo. Mobile phone coverage is unavailable at the camping area itself.
