The Campground is also a convenient stop-over for four-wheel-drive enthusiasts travelling via the beach between Noosa and Fraser Island.

The North Shore Beach Campground occupies a beachfront site on the stunning Cooloola Coast that stretches from Noosa Heads to Double Island Point and onto Rainbow Beach and Fraser Island.

Access to the Noosa North Shore is by vehicle barge leaving from Moorindil Street, Tewantin. Noosa North Shore Ferries operate from 5:30 am to 10:20 pm Sundays to Thursdays, and from 5:30 am to 12:20 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
