Ration Point Camping Area

It is right on the banks of the Turon river Ration Point free camp is only 3 km from Sofala. With 2 shelter areas equipped with picnic tables and water tanks, as well as a long drop toilet and several rock fire pits.

There are plenty of flat areas for caravans and tents. With flat space along the main entrance and several flat spots by the river accessible by vehicles. Pets are allowed, and kept on a leash at all times. Trout can be fished here as a general trout stream open for fishing from the start of the October long weekend to the end of the June long weekend. The entrance road to campsite is at a slight incline, take care with caravans and two-wheel drive cars.
