The camping area is accessible by conventional vehicles, making it a convenient destination for campers with a range of vehicle types. However, it's important to note that the entrance road into Speewah Conservation Park is not suitable for towing caravans, so campers with larger setups should plan accordingly. Speewah camping area offers a variety of camping options, including tent camping, camper trailer camping, and campervan camping. There are three numbered sites, each measuring 7m x 11m, which can accommodate two cars and trailers or tents and a maximum of 10 people per site. The grassy surface of the campsite adds to the camping experience, making it a comfortable and natural setting for outdoor enthusiasts. The camping area is well-equipped to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience. Facilities include electric/fuel barbecues (free of charge), flush toilets, and cold showers. Campfires are allowed, but only in the designated fire pit located in the communal tent area. Campers should use fuel stoves elsewhere in the camping area. To have a safe and enjoyable camping experience at Speewah, visitors are advised to bring essential items such as drinking water, a fuel stove for cooking, a first-aid kit, rubbish bags for responsible waste disposal, insect repellent to ward off pesky bugs, and a screened tent or mosquito net to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. Please note that mobile phone coverage is not available at this camping area, allowing visitors to truly disconnect and immerse themselves in the natural surroundings.
