1) Open fires: allowed (except when fire bans apply) in fire rings only. Bring your own clean-milled firewood. Do not bring in or collect bush wood.

Accessible from the main park entrance in Taroom, it's important to note that the journey to Starkvale is only possible via 4WD vehicles and high-clearance off-road camper trailers. Unfortunately, caravans and buses will need to seek alternative accommodations. The camping area consists of an open area with additional separate nodes. Sites are not individually numbered or bookable, allowing for flexibility in choosing your ideal spot. The campsite features a grassy surface, providing a comfortable and inviting area to set up camp. Campers have access to pit toilets and a rainwater tank. While there is a rainwater tank, it's advisable to bring your own drinking water, as the reliability of tank water may vary. Ensure you treat tank water before use. The use of generators is prohibited to preserve the natural tranquility of the park. While enjoying your stay at Starkvale, you can make use of pit toilets and a rainwater tank. Please note that mobile phone coverage is not available in the park, allowing you to fully disconnect from the digital world and immerse yourself in the natural wonders of Expedition National Park.
