Swan Knoll campsite is situated on the crest of a knoll, standing at an elevation of about 1080 meters above sea level. Access to Swan Knoll is strictly by foot, making it a remote and secluded destination for nature enthusiasts seeking solitude and a challenging trek. The campsite offers tent camping, and it's important to note that it's a long walk to the tent area. There are no defined camping sites; instead, it's an open forest area where you can pitch your tent among the eucalypt trees and fire-scarred grasstrees.
Carry an adequate supply of drinking water and extra food, as there's no water source nearby. Topographic maps, compass, and GPS devices are essential for navigation in this wilderness. Pack a first-aid kit, torch, warm clothing, wet weather gear, insect repellent, and rubbish bags. Open fires are prohibited, so bring a fuel or gas stove for cooking. Mobile phone coverage in the area is poor, so be prepared for limited connectivity.
