Neighborhood
One of the highlights of this camping area is the chance to explore the creeks and tributaries of the channel, trying your hand at fishing amidst the snags. Back at camp, relax in the shade and take in breathtaking views of the channel and the mountain ranges on the mainland, especially during low tide when you can observe the remains of an Aboriginal fish trap made of rocks. For those interested in hiking, the nearby "The Haven track" winds through a mixed forest featuring tall licuala palms. The track starts right at the camping area and follows a small, clear creek, making it a pleasant way to stretch your legs and immerse yourself in the island's natural beauty.
