Turtle Street camping area offers a total of eight numbered campsites. Among these, two are walk-in sites, two are drive-through sites, and the remaining four are drive-in sites. These sites cater to various camping preferences, including tent camping, 4WD camper trailer, and 4WD camper vans. The campsite is set on a sandy surface, providing a natural and comfortable environment for campers. While it offers a more rustic camping experience, the site provides basic facilities such as benches for campers to use during their stay. Open fires, both open and closed, are prohibited at Turtle Street camping area. However, campers can use gas or liquid-fueled stoves for cooking purposes. The use of generators is not permitted at this camping area, ensuring a peaceful and environmentally friendly atmosphere. When planning your trip to Turtle Street, remember to bring all your food and drinking water, as there are no facilities for these resources on-site. Sturdy rubbish bags are also essential to help keep the area clean.
