Upper Colo Reserve
The Upper Colo Camping / Recreation Reserve is a 13.8-hectare reserve situated beside the Colo River and adjoins the Wollemi National Park. Two-thirds of the reserve is covered in native bushland, and one third is dedicated to picnic and camping facilities. It is perfect for nature-loving families as the reserve is surrounded by the Wollemi National Park and beside the pretty Colo River. The river is clean, and the water is shallow for children to swim.
The Upper Colo Reserve is popular with both visitors and locals. Campsite numbers are limited, so if you are interested in camping, bookings are required and can be made by contacting Hawkesbury City Council. The reserve is open all year round. Basic toilets and shower facilities are available. You can bring the family pooch, but dogs must be kept on a lead.

Things to know
1) Only the people booked can stay and camp. Additional people will not be allowed on arrival to camp.
2) Dogs and horses can be taken to the reserve. Dogs must be registered under the Companion Animals Register and kept on a leash. Horses must be yarded.
