It is designed for tent camping, but please note that it involves a long walk to reach the tent area. The campsite is set within a lush rainforest, providing an excellent opportunity to relax and connect with nature. The flat terrain of this section of the K'gari Great Walk makes it easy for walkers to enjoy the surroundings.

Plan an extra night at the campsite to explore the hidden treasures of the rainforest. A 12.4-kilometer return side trail leads deep into the heart of the forest, where you can witness massive tallowwood and satinay trees that are over 1000 years old. After a peaceful night (or two) at the campsite, you can continue your K'gari Great Walk adventure, exploring the island's diverse landscapes and pristine wilderness.
