At Walardi campground, campfires, dogs and generator use are not permitted. Chemical toilet waste should not be emptied into campground toilets and all waste should be carried out of the park for disposal in an authorised dump point. No bins are provided, so visitors must carry all waste out of the park. Lastly, drones are not permitted at the campground
Things to know
Purnululu National Park is remote and has limited available supplies and untreated bore water. Visitors must carry in all water, food, fuel and other supplies, including enough supplies for three days (even if staying one) and a minimum of 300km worth of fuel. Due to the park's vast distances, day trips are not recommended.
