Waves Campground

At Waves, we aim to provide comfortable, friendly, and affordable camping with professional and great customer service from people who care for what they do.

You can find the campground on the spectacular Mid North Coast of NSW, between Goolawah National Park and Limeburners Creek Nature Reserve. Just across the road, there are magnificent beaches with squeaky sand and gorgeous blue bays for surfing, fishing, snorkeling, and long walks. Our beautiful trees and bush give privacy and shade to campsites and the wildlife here is amazing. We try to keep the exciting flora and fauna around us as natural as we can and are especially proud of the abundant birdlife.

The international team of volunteers and permanent staff at Waves actively maintain, improve and clean the campground. Most crew members checked in as guests and enjoyed the place so much, they didn’t want to leave. Others have come through HelpX where we exchange a few hours of light work for food and accommodation. The energetic, competent, and happy crew makes for a warm welcoming, and enjoyable atmosphere during your holiday experience.
