Amamoor Creek Camping Area

Nestled beside Amamoor Creek, this spacious camping area with ironbark and blue gum trees is a great place to camp with your dog.

In the last week of August, this camping area attracts thousands of visitors for the annual Gympie Music Muster. If you are not attending the Gympie Music Muster, consider camping at the Cedar Grove camping area (dogs are not permitted).

The Gympie Music Muster(external link) manages camp bookings and inquiries for the Amamoor Creek camping area from late July to early September.

This camping area is also busy over school and public holidays but at other times it's ideal for peaceful camping and star gazing on clear nights.

Your family dog can camp with you here—conditions apply:

• Your dog must be on a leash and under control at all times.
• Always clean up after your dog—collect waste in a secure bag. Pack bags and a suitable storage container so you can take them away and dispose of them responsibly.
