Auburn River Camping Area
Camping area features: In an open eucalypt forest a short walk from the river and bushwalking opportunities.
Location: On the northern bank of the Auburn River.
Access: Four-wheel-drive vehicles are recommended in wet weather. Stay on the road, as soils are treacherous when wet.
Several sites: Five camping nodes, sites are not numbered.
Camp sites are suitable for: Tent camping beside your car, caravans, camper trailers, and large groups.
Campsite surfaces Gravel.
Facilities: Toilets, a gas barbecue, a shelter shed, picnic tables, and communal fire rings. Never empty chemical toilet waste into park toilet facilities. Tank water is available in the park—treat before drinking. River water is unsuitable for drinking. No bins are supplied; please take your rubbish with you.
