Please note that campfires are only allowed in campers' own portable, self-contained fire rings when conditions permit, usually between April and October. It is prohibited to collect firewood and kindling in national parks and other conservation reserves, so please bring your own firewood. Dogs are allowed in the park but must be kept on a leash at all times. Generator use is permitted. There are no toilets provided, so please bring and use a portable chemical cassette toilet. The nearest dump point is 6km away, or you can carry waste out of the park for disposal in an authorised dump point. Please carry all waste out of the park as there are no bins provided. Private, unlicensed all-terrain vehicles/quad bikes (ATVs) and other off-road vehicles are not allowed in Nyinggulu Coastal Reserves.
Things to know
Please note that there is no drinking water or personal hygiene facilities available at Nyinggulu Coastal Reserves. The period between December and April can be quite hot, with a high risk of bushfires. Tropical cyclones are common from November to April, while storms are frequent between May and October throughout Western Australia. As the reserve is located in a very remote area, it is essential to ensure that you have enough supplies such as water, food, fuel, medication, and first aid, as well as appropriate equipment and clothing for the conditions before embarking on your journey.
