1) Open fires: allowed in fire rings only (except when fire bans apply). Fuel stoves are recommended.
2) Generators: Generators are permitted between 9am and 12 pm (midday). Generators must only be operated at less than 65dB(A), when measured 7m from the generator.

The campsites are situated on a grassy surface, providing a comfortable and natural camping environment. Campfires are allowed, but certain conditions apply, so it's essential to check fire regulations before starting one. Generators are permitted during specific hours (9 am to 12 pm), and they must operate quietly to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. Don't forget to bring firewood, drinking water, insect repellent, and rubbish bags, as these are essential for a comfortable stay. Please be aware that mobile phone coverage is not available in this remote location.



Explore the nearby Rainforest and Creek walks to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the forest. In winter, when conditions are safe, you can enjoy canoeing in sections of Broadwater Creek. Cool off in the creek, but take note not to swim near the main swimming hole. Wet a line in the creek and try your luck at catching some fish. Spend your days relaxing in the peaceful surroundings, enjoying the sights and sounds of the forest.
