You will be spoilt for choice at this large open camping area, as the Castle Rock camping area has sites suitable for all visitors to Girraween National Park, including specifically dedicated sites for larger family/friend groups and/or persons with disabilities (PWD).

Sites cater to small caravans, motorhomes, various-sized camper-trailers, and tents. The two semi-grassed and shaded PWD sites are for use by PWD and a Disability parking permit must be displayed. Linked to the PWD campsites are PWD facilities with a toilet and shower cubicle (byo portable shower and water).

Relax against the backdrop of views to The Pyramid and Castle Rock and let the forest symphony of birdsong help you to relax and unwind from a day on the road. Watch eastern grey kangaroos grazing on the grassed areas and listen to the abundant birdlife in the forest canopy. After relaxing under the shade of a eucalypt, it won't take you long to feel immersed in nature.
