The Fern Flat camping area is Situated merely 600 meters from the Broken River day-use area, which is conveniently about 5 kilometers away from the charming Eungella township, the Fern Flat camping area is accessible by various means. Conventional vehicles can venture 600 meters along a gravel road to reach this hidden gem. Additionally, trail bikes and bicycles can traverse these paths, offering an exciting approach for adventure enthusiasts. For those seeking a more immersive experience, walking to the campsite is an option, further enhancing the sense of journey and connection with the surroundings. The campsite is designed to cater to tent campers who seek a harmonious blend of comfort and nature. With eight available sites, each accommodating a maximum of four people, the camping area ensures a serene and intimate experience. visitors are required to bring their essential supplies, including all food and drinking water. Additionally, sturdy rubbish bags are indispensable to uphold the pristine environment, while insect repellent and sun protection are vital for enjoying the outdoors comfortably. A well-equipped first-aid kit and a reliable torch are indispensable tools for ensuring safety and preparedness throughout the camping experience. Mobile phone coverage is not available. Nearest reception is at Sky Window day-use area and Eungella.
