The camping area can be reached by boat or high-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicle in dry conditions. It is accessible for high-clearance trailers, buses, motor homes, and small caravans.

Boat access: the camping area is accessible from the Great Sandy Strait. The nearest boat ramps are located at the Log Dump camping area, Tinnanbar, and Tin Can Bay. Consult boating safety charts to access camping areas by boat.
Vehicle access: from the Cooloola Coast Road and Tinnanbar Road junction, travel 11.7km of unsealed road to the signed camping area turn-off. The camping area is a further 2.2km along the road or 3km along the private access road. Fees may apply for the access road through private property,
