Manna Gum camping area is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. The camping area accommodates various types of camping, including tent camping, caravan camping, camper trailer camping, campervan camping, motorhome camping, and tent camping beside your car. Campfires are allowed in designated areas, but visitors should be mindful of local conditions and potential fire bans. Campers can enjoy wood-fired barbecues; however, they need to bring their own wood for fuel. It's essential to bring drinking water, rubbish bags, insect repellent, a fuel or gas stove, and firewood (if planning to use the barbecue facilities). Please note that mobile phone coverage is not available in the area, so be prepared for limited connectivity.

The camping area is conveniently located near several captivating walking tracks, including the Ridge track, Dalrymple circuit, and Cascades circuit. These trails offer the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the surrounding area. As night falls, campers can gather around campfires while children go on thrilling spotlighting adventures, seeking out frogs, owls, phascogales, bats, wallabies, bandicoots, possums, and gliders. If you maintain quiet and patience, you might even spot the elusive red-necked pademelons grazing on the forest's edges. Spring and summer bring the vibrant calls of great barred frogs echoing through the night air, adding to the enchantment of the camping experience.
