Things to know
The camping area is accessible by high clearance 4WD vehicles. It's important to note that the Eastern Beach scenic drive, which leads to the camping area, is only accessible two hours before and after low tide. There are eight tent sites and two trailer sites available for camping, and online booking is required. It's important to book your camper trailer into a designated site. Campsite surfaces consist of sand. There are no facilities at the camping area, so campers must provide and use their portable toilets. The nearest portable waste disposal facilities are at the Woralie Road eastern beach entrance, and campers need to have their own water supply (nearest fill-up station is at Happy Valley). Open fires are prohibited, but generators are allowed with specific noise restrictions. Essential items to bring include a first-aid kit, prescription medicines, fuel or gas stove, water containers, rubbish bags, insect repellent, sand pegs, tarpaulins, extra poles, ropes, and lockable food storage containers. Mobile phone coverage is generally unavailable, but there is a public phone in Happy Valley for emergencies.
