To reach Teewah Beach Camping Area Zone 3, a high-clearance 4WD vehicle is necessary. The camping area is situated between Noosa Heads and Rainbow Beach on the Sunshine Coast, and it can be accessed via the Cooloola Beach Drive. Whether you prefer tent camping, caravan camping, camper trailer camping, or tent camping beside your vehicle, Zone 3 caters to various camping preferences. Teewah Beach Camping Area Zone 3 offers beach camping without formally defined sites. Campers must use existing access tracks and camp behind vegetated foredunes to minimize environmental impact. The camping area provides bulk rubbish bins. Portable toilets are mandatory for camping at Teewah Beach and must have a sealed waste holding tank. A beach camper service facility opposite the Freshwater day-use area offers portable toilet waste disposal, untreated tap water, and cold outdoor showers. Public toilets are available at Freshwater day-use area and Double Island Point. Open fires are prohibited. Only cooking and heating appliances using gas or manufactured fuel are allowed, provided they meet safety requirements. Campers are advised to bring a fuel or gas stove, portable toilet, drinking water, rubbish bags, first-aid kit, insect repellent, sunscreen, and sand pegs. Low decibel generators up to 2.0Kva are permitted between 7am and 9pm, with consideration for fellow campers' peace and quiet. Mobile phone coverage is not available within the camping area, but a pay phone is located at Freshwater camping area, just north of Teewah Beach camping zone.

Nature lovers will be thrilled by the diverse wildlife and natural wonders. Spend your days fishing for bream and flathead, taking leisurely walks along the shore during low tide, and observing shorebirds resting along the beach. Keep an eye on the skies as well, as birds of prey are a common sight overhead. In the winter months, don't miss the chance to spot humpback whales migrating along the coastline. You'll have the freedom to explore this remote beach and its surroundings. The camping zone stretches 2.8 kilometers along the beach, providing numerous open campsite options for visitors. Zone 3 offers the unique experience of camping behind the foredunes, allowing you to wake up to breathtaking views of the beach and the ocean. The backdrop consists of she-oaks, banksias, and pandanus palms, creating a stunning natural setting.
