Access to Teewah Beach camping area zone 4 is limited to high-clearance 4WD vehicles. Vehicle access permits are mandatory, and they should be displayed on your windshield.
You can access the camping area via the Cooloola beach drive, either from the southern entrance on Noosa North Shore or the northern beach entrance at Rainbow Beach. The camping area is suitable for tents, camper trailers with high clearance, and walk-in camping. There are no formally defined campsites; instead, you must camp in the zone you have booked. A beach camper service facility is available near the Freshwater day-use area, offering a portable toilet waste disposal facility, untreated tap water, and cold outdoor showers. Public toilets can be found at Freshwater day-use area and Double Island Point. pen fires are prohibited. Only cooking and heating appliances that meet specific requirements are allowed, such as those using gas or manufactured fuel (heat beads, briquettes). Generators are permitted, but only low decibel generators up to 2.0Kva between 7 am and 9 pm. Consider your neighbors, especially at night, and turn generators off at 9 pm. Campers should bring essentials like sand pegs, a fuel or gas cooking appliance, portable toilet, drinking water, a fuel or gas stove, rubbish bags, a first-aid kit, insect repellent, sunscreen, and, importantly, a sense of adventure. Mobile phone coverage is not available, but there is a pay phone at Freshwater camping area, just north of Teewah Beach camping zone.
