Located between Noosa Heads and Rainbow Beach on the Sunshine Coast, Dutgee Walkers' Camp is a part of the renowned Cooloola Great Walk. This unique camping experience can be reached by foot only, emphasizing its exclusivity and commitment to preserving the natural environment. It stands 37km from the southern entrance of the Cooloola Great Walk and is conveniently situated 20km away from Brahminy Walkers' Camp. This area, once known as Log Landing, holds a significant place in local culture and history. The log stacks of unrecovered timber, remnants from the mid-1900s, speak of a time when this area served as a landing for timber transportation. It offers 7 tent camping sites, with a maximum group size of 6 people per site. The total capacity of camping area is 14 people, ensuring a peaceful and intimate experience. While the campsite beckons with its rustic charm, it's important to heed the warning provided. Avoid climbing on the decaying logs, as they can pose serious risks. Furthermore, swimming in the Noosa River is not recommended due to safety concerns. Mobile phone coverage is nil.
