2) Generators: Only low decibel generators up to 2.0Kva are permitted between 7am and 9pm. Consider neighbours especially at night. Please turn generators off at 9pm.

To reach Zone 6, you'll need a high-clearance 4WD vehicle as it is accessible via the Cooloola beach drive. It's also possible to access the area with a trail bike for those seeking adventure. Zone 6 offers open camp sites where you can pitch a tent, camp with a camper trailer, or set up a tent beside your car. This camping zone stretches for approximately 340 meters, providing ample space for campers to set up. Zone 6 offers the unique opportunity to camp right along the beautiful Teewah Beach. You can wake up to the stunning sight of the sunrise over the ocean right from your tent. Generators are allowed in Zone 6, with specific conditions that apply. Ensure you have essential items like a portable toilet, drinking water, fuel or gas cooking appliances, a first-aid kit, insect repellent, sunscreen, and sand pegs. There is no mobile phone coverage in the area, but there is a payphone at the nearby Freshwater camping area.
